NOTE 01 / SHORT READ
Draw a route from memory
Sketch a familiar route without opening a map. Mark the turns and the landmarks you actually use. Compare the drawing with the route afterward.
The differences are informative. A useful personal map is not always geometrically precise; it makes the decisions along a journey easy to recognize.
